The ‘Obama Soul Train’ will soon be at the Las Vegas station and be ready to boogie down to Washington, D.C. on January 20 for Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration. On board for all the hoopla, will reportedly be Mary Wilson, one of the original Supremes, and longtime leading Las Vegas headliners Clint Holmes and George Wallace. Holmes, who headlined at Harrah’s Las Vegas from 2000 to 2006, is in talks to sing his recent song, “Who Will Stand,” a documentary ballad about American soldiers returning home with physical and other challenges.

Spirits Favor Michael Jackson
And I don’t mean ‘spirits’ of the alcoholic variety. No, this time the rapidly aging pop-icon and sometimes Las Vegas resident, who has more stories accompanying him than libraries have books, has now been bestowed the gift of a clean bill of health by Peruvian shamans. Yes, the Gloved Wonder received the announcement last Sunday during the annual gathering at the highest point in Lima, Peru, where shamans, healers, and spirit “channelers” convened and called on the spirits to protect world figures. Jackson, who has been the subject of numerous dire health reports, “will resist” and “get stronger,” or so they say.
