Brothel Job for Suspected Killer Cop?

Drew Peterson, 55, a brash, mustachioed former Illinois police sergeant who found tabloid fame after his fourthDrewPeterson wife’s disappearance, said he’s considering a tempting brothel job offer he has received from the HBO reality show “Cathouse,” filmed at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch near Reno.

Brothel owner Dennis Hoff said he invited Peterson recently to spend the weekend at the Bunny Ranch and discussed working there, saying he wants to hire Peterson to head the brothel’s security detail.

Those plans, however, are apparently on the backburner as Peterson was indicted May 7 and held on a $20 million bond for two-counts of first-degree murder in the drowning death of Kathleen Savio, his third wife, who was found dead in a dry bathtub in 2004.

Drew Peterson seems to relish being under the media microscope since Stacy Peterson, his fourth wife, disappeared 1 ½ years ago.  He has appeared in People magazine and on multiple national talk shows– most recently to tout his new engagement to a 24-year-old woman.

Mother’s Day Ala Las Vegas Style

There are some holidays that go hand-in-hand with the fabulous glitz and glitter that is Las Vegas.  New Years Eve, any three-day weekend, any day that let’s you blow off fireworks from the top of the parking garages, just to name a few.  But there’s one day that may not be what you consider a natural fit with the Las Vegas economy – and it really, truly, is the most natural of all holiday destination matches – Mother’s Day in Las Vegas. mothersday

Looking to give Mom a few days off the clock?  Perhaps a room with a (Strip) view, room service and sunshine by the pool may give her the chance to dial down the stress and forget her carpool duties for a while.

Want to spoil Mom and give her a pamper-by-numbers opportunity?  How about a luxury suite at the Trump Hotel along with the Mother’s Day Spa Package at The Spa at Trump?  This package includes a facial, pedicure and spa robe for $179.

But if you would like your mom’s spa day to do more than celebrate your special lady – how about the Trump Gold Package?  Donate $25 or more to the American Heart Association (via the Trump Hotel) and receive a Gold Body Scrub, Gold Facial, Trump Massage and Gold Bar Box Set for $189.

Restaurants in Las Vegas will be offering many unique luncheon and dining opportunities that will work for any budget.

At $50 or more per person, the Paris Hotel and Casino’s premier restaurant, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, will offer open early on Sunday, May 10 for a Mother’s Day lunch brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Reservations required.

Or for a few dollars less, about $35 per person (special pricing for children), ENVY the Steakhouse at the Renaissance Las Vegas will also offer a brunch for Mom’s on May 10 complete with mimosa’s and Wes Winters at the piano.

With options ranging from Rumjungle to Pamplemousse, it will be possible to wine and dine Mom regardless of what type of meal she may be interested in and the budget available for the celebration.

So give Mom a chance to break away from the every day routine and have a very grand Vegas Mother’s Day.
