Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Chi Theatre in Las Vegas will host the movie premier of “The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard” on August 12, with a 6:30 p.m. red carpet including cast members and filmmakers Jeremy Piven, Will Ferrell, Alan Thicke, David Koechner, Jordana Spiro, Ken Jeong, Craig Robinson, Rob Riggle, Noureen DeWulf, Jonathan Sadowski, Neal Brennan, Adam McKay, and Kevin Messick.
The movie revolves about Renaissance man Don Ready, played by Emmy Award-winner Jeremy Piven (“The Kingdom,” “Entourage”), who is everything but a dolphin trainer. When he’s asked to help save an ailing local car dealership from bankruptcy, Ready and his ragtag crew descends on the town of Temecula like a pack of coyotes on a basket full of burgers. Selling, drinking, selling and going to strip clubs is their stock and trade. And they do it well. What Don doesn’t expect is to fall in love and find his soul (cue heartfelt piano).
“The Goods Live Hard. Sell Hard” also stars Ving Rhames (“I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry,” “Mission: Impossible II”). The film, from Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions, is directed by Neal Brennan, co-creator of the hugely successful Comedy Central hit “Chappelle’s Show.”
The movie will be released in theatres throughout the U.S. on August 14.
