The Cosmopolitan hotel-condominium-casino project in progress on the Las Vegas Strip has appointed 30-year hotel veteran and former Caesars Palace general manager John Unwin as the resort’s chief executive.
Unwin, who resigned from Caesars Palace after working there the past five years, will join the $3.9 billion project in October.
The Cosmopolitan is scheduled to open in September 2010 and is located on 8.5 acres between MGM Mirage’s CityCenter (scheduled to open this December) and the Bellagio on Las Vegas Boulevard.
