Las Vegas Venetian headliner Wayne Brady has been vetted to host the revived “Let’s Make a Deal” TV show. 
CBS executive producer Mike Richards says the show will tape in Las Vegas, without naming the venue yet.
Pretty good news for Brady- his contract was up for renewal this month.

Flamingo headliner Marie Osmond will reign as “Woman of the Year” at the Nevada Ballet Theatre’s Black and White Ball on January 23 at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. 
Bette Midler received the honor for 2009.
Marie Osmond debuted professionally at age 3, peforming in her brothers’ act, “The Osmond Brothers.”

NBA superstar Shaquille O’ Neal and championship boxer Oscar de la Hoya will discuss their head-to-head matchup exhibition at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The match which will be featured in an 
episode of the new reality series “Shaq VS” on ABC Television Network. 
ABC and Media Rights Capital announced the premiere of “Shaq VS,” a new competition series starring NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal. The one-hour series, in which O’Neal will take his athletic prowess beyond the basketball court and strive to become a champion in a new sporting event each week, will debut on August 18 from 9 to 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
