Designed in the 1980s by Emily Kersman and Wells Butler, what was then merely a primp clothing fad soon morphed warp speed when Paris Hilton, a regular Las Vegan, frequently cavorted in clubs wearing the stylish duds.
The primp clothing fad became a smashing trend and the garments continue to be hotly sought after, being found online and in high end boutiques.
Known for their hip and cozy look, the mix and match clothing designs include animal prints of virtually any beast.
Primp thermals and hoodies have become the fashion trend for indoors and street wear, worn by ordinary folk and the whose who of chicdom.
The fashionable clothing is hugely popular among virtually all hip celebrities, including Britney Spears, Mischa Barton, Nicole Richie, and Lindsay Lohan.
Now, with the Las Vegas Magic Convention coming to Las Vegas starting August 31, new Primp clothing lines are being introduced that will assuredly create even more fashion buzz.
Las Vegas Backstage Access is offering to craft an article for your publication on the popular primp clothing trend, including designer interview, celebs, Magic offerings, complete with photography. If interested, please fill out a reply to this article, kindly responding by August 17 so we can arrange interviews.

Lance Burton’s magic and his theater at the Monte Carlo, suprisingly, is not the center of the Las Vegas MAGIC universe this week. Burton, at least for this week, has to share his headliner billing with the Men’s Apparel Guild of California.
The MAGIC show runs February 17 through February 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas. Expected to draw an estimated 120,000 attendees, the show brings the best and most prestigious clothing exhibitors to Las Vegas convention halls, introducing new style and trends that fast-track to the general marketplace.
This year MAGIC will expand further with the introduction of “MAGIA at MAGIC”. Located in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, MAGIA is designed for the Hispanic and Latin American markets.
“We realize that this is a pivotal time in our industry,” said Chris DeMoulin, President of MAGIC International and Executive Vice-President, Advanstar Fashion Group. Categories are evolving, trends are changing and our clients are looking to MAGIC for a new approach to their business needs. We’ve assembled an amazing team and listened to invaluable feedback from our customers, and the result is a strategy we believe in. There has never been a more exciting time to be a part of The MAGIC Marketplace.”
