Las Vegas celebrity impersonator Trina Johnson-Finn has been incarcerated since March in a Suriname jail, location of Finn’s Feb. 28 concert.
She was denied release on Tuesday and now faces a May 26 trial date on charges of impersonating Las Vegas entertainer Toni Braxton.
Her attorney had reportedly filed an appeal to have released based on the arrest of the concert promoter, Angel Ventura, last Saturday, who was captured in a harbor bar in Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname.
The judge denied the motion.
