Ida Ljungqvist, 27, from Tanzania was named Playmate of the Year on Saturday at the Palms in Las Vegas. Ljungqvist is the first African-born playmate and the magazine’s 50th Playmate of the Year. She came to the United States five years ago from Dar es Saluam, Tanzania, to study fashion design, and is featured in the June issue.
